Today (December 28) is the feast day of KING DAVID.
He was the King of Israel - and is one of the greatest Kings in history.
He defeated Goliath in that eponymous battle, wrote those amazing psalms, and is one of the holy ancestors of our messiah, Jesus.
Yet, he was, in many ways, the 'least likely' to do/be all of these things.
His story is an encouragement to all of us: God continually chooses the LEAST LIKELY to do great things for His Kingdom.
If you feel like you're in the back blocks of anonymity, obscurity, unseen, unheard ... the 'least likely' to do something great, be encouraged. You're in good company.
Be faithful to where God has you now, and He promises to take you to where He has called you.

UNFORGIVENESS is a major bondage for many people. Holding on to offence, hurt, bitterness and resentment keeps them trapped in the past, unable to live in the freedom Christ died to give us.
The world's top medical experts have also found that unforgiveness is behind a long list of health conditions, including cancer.
This makes so much sense, because Sin and Sickness are tied together, and God repeatedly tells us in scripture that unless we forgive others, neither will God forgive our sins.
Matthew 6:14 + Ephesians 4:32 + Colossians 3:13
 

GOD'S WORD promises a 7 fold portion of recompense for anything 'stolen' by the enemy:
"If the thief is caught he must pay back seven fold" - Proverbs 6:31
 

The prophet Ezekiel tells a powerful story of the healing waters bringing life to the dead sea - a sea that was literally life-less (Ezekial 47).
The healing waters refer to the healing power of God - His holy spirit, His Word, His life.
"WHEREVER the waters flow, everything will be healed" - Ezekiel 47:9.
 This is a PROMISE for every daughter and son of God. Any place in your life that is dead and life-less, the power of God WILL HEAL IT.
BELIEVE IT, RECEIVE IT, DECLARE IT in your life today, in Jesus' Name

Yes, there will be trials and suffering in this life - BUT, scripture tell us that 'in all these things we are MORE THAN CONQUERORS through Christ" - Romans 8:37.
It is totally possible to have deep peace and joy, even in the midst of fiery trials and suffering.
In fact, that is what we are called and commanded to: "Seek Peace and pursue it" - Psalm 34 + "Be full of joy ALWAYS" - 1 Thessalonians 5:16
But this is impossible in our own human strength. The ONLY way this is possible is by being totally anchored and focused on Christ, and His Word.
I can tell you from years of lived experience: We will not have VICTORY or FREEDOM in our minds and hearts until we know and believe and obey The Word of God.
DAILY MEDITATION ON THE WORD OF GOD WILL TRANSFORM YOUR LIFE - I am living proof.
